Strategic Retail Partners is seeking a part-time Payroll Processor to ensure accurate, timely weekly payroll processing under the direction of the Payroll Manager. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and collaborative in-office work two days per week, with remaining hours performed remotely.

The position involves processing inputs, addressing routine inquiries, reconciling payroll, and maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of payroll processing experience.
• Prior exposure to payroll, general ledger, or accounting functions.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency required.
• Experience with Paycom and Workday preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and organization.
• Critical thinker and reliable team player, comfortable working independently on remote days.
• Ability to be on-site at the Denver office two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll inputs accurately and on schedule, including hours, corrections, and updates.
• Respond to routine payroll inquiries from employees and internal partners, escalating complex issues to the Payroll Manager.
• Verify benefit deduction changes in coordination with Human Resources.
• Perform standard payroll reconciliations (hours, deductions, pay codes) prior to each pay run.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready payroll records and documentation.
• Support payroll audits and special reports as assigned by the Payroll Manager

The role requires strong attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and dependable in-office collaboration two days per week with the remaining hours performed remotely.
