Job summary

Baker Industries is seeking a part-time Accounting & Payroll Administrator to process payroll using Paycom, manage unemployment claims, and support customer invoicing. The role reports to the Finance Manager/Controller and partners with production and admin staff across Baker's sites.

This 24-hour-per-week position is primarily on-site at Baker's offices in Malvern, PA (transitioning to Norristown, PA in 2026).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with Paycom or similar payroll platform.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour basics, and unemployment compensation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Discretion with confidential employee and financial information.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and standard office software; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for all employees using Paycom.
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle withholdings and deductions.
• Support payroll tax filings and W-2 processing with Finance.
• Handle unemployment compensation claims and documentation.
