This onsite, part-time role supports the HR Officer and staff, answers payroll inquiries, conducts audits, and ensures confidentiality; proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and payroll systems is required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review employee hours, pay rates, deductions, PTO, and other payroll-related information.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
• Process employee changes, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefit deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and research payroll-related issues.
• Assist with payroll system maintenance, updates, and testing.
• Participate in payroll audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Maintain payroll-related benefit deductions.
• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with annual open enrollment activities.
• Assist with COBRA enrollments and changes.
• Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS.
• Assist with HR projects, training, employee programs, and special events.
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Officer.
