Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of payroll processing experience in a mid-size organization.
• Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping administration, and payroll reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review employee hours, pay rates, deductions, PTO, and other payroll data.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before finalization.
• Process changes including hires, terminations, and benefit deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Assist with payroll system maintenance, updates, and testing.
• Support COBRA enrollments and benefits administration.
• Maintain accurate HRIS employee data and assist HR projects and events.
