Job summary

Pawn King Corp is seeking entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, process sales and loans, and maintain display of merchandise across our pawn stores.

Base pay is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging about an additional $1 per hour. Earned Wage Access begins after day two; 401(k) available after six months.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
