Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year of public library and/or customer service experience is desired, but is not a required requisite to qualify for this position.
• Desirable: Public library experience in circulation or support services is desired, but is not a required requisite to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

• Register patrons to permit them to borrow books, periodicals, and other library materials.
• Charge and discharge library materials, collect patron fees and charges.
• Direct patrons to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Provide information in response to inquiries about patron accounts and services and handle complaints.
