Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responds to transport requests with urgency to meet delivery goals and KPIs.
• Ensures patient safety by following procedures and using approved rolling equipment.
• Transports patients between departments and care areas using wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or ambulation as requested.
• Verifies patient identity and chart information before transport and maintains confidentiality.
• Disinfects and cleans transport equipment before and after use; reports equipment needing repairs.
• Adheres to hospital protocols and regulatory standards and follows isolation and radiation precautions.
