Job summary

Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Patient Transporter to join the Patient Transport team. This role provides prompt, courteous service to patients, visitors and coworkers, and is responsible for intra-hospital transport and related tasks.

You will contribute to service excellence through collaboration with other departments and team members. The position is part-time (24 hours) with shifts 7am–3:30pm on Fri/Sat/Sun, requiring English communication, basic education, and patient-care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6-12 months of customer service or hospital experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift without any limitations.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients within the hospital and assist coworkers.
• Provide prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to patients and visitors.
• Collaborate with team and ancillary departments to ensure service excellence.
