Job summary

Revo Health in Minnesota seeks a Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration and check-in, plus clinical support. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) runs 3 days/week (M-F) with rotating hours 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and weekend shifts at Eagan and Burnsville.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling, and conveying appointment details and referrals to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties including handling calls and coordinating interpreters and referrals.
• Any and all other duties as assigned
