Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Representative for Convenient Care in Chesterfield. You will be the first contact for front office activities, handling patient check-ins and scheduling, and maintaining patient financial records.

Qualifications

• Experience with health insurance payments and patient billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on regulations; collects payments.
• Performs data entry of service charges, including diagnostic codes and related charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and collected.
