Easterseals PORT Health in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Coordinator to join our front desk team. The PSC handles check-in, co-pays, medical records and patient paperwork, delivering friendly service to adults accessing mental health, substance use and related care.

This role offers part-time hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am to 5pm, with potential to move to full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with mental health population preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical functions in a clinic that serves adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Check in patients and collect co-pays; handle medical records and patient paperwork.
• Serve as the face of the organization at check-in and check-out with excellent customer service to patients and families.
• Support front desk activities as part of the clinic’s administrative team.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and smooth clinic operations.
