Job summary

Memorial Health in Marysville, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our collaborative team. You will support licensed nurses with direct and indirect patient care, help with daily living activities, and contribute to a safe, clean environment to promote optimal patient outcomes.

You will collect vital signs and input data, assist with transportation, communicate professionally with staff and patients, and participate in shift rotations including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in nursing or related medical field is acceptable.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Behavioral Health & De-Escalation training (BHDT) within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses with direct and indirect patient care.
• Support activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Collect vital signs, I&O, and document findings.
• Assist with patient transport and registration processes, and provide wheelchair assistance as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and support hospital operations during weekends and holidays.
