Job summary

Memorial Health in Marysville, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our Med-Surg team on a part-time, 3rd shift. You will support licensed nurses, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include collecting vitals, documenting findings, and coordinating with staff. BLS and BHDT training are required within specified timelines. A collaborative, patient-centered culture awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with coursework or relevant patient care experience.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• BHDT training within six months of employment.
• Willingness to work rotating, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses with direct and indirect patient care and daily living activities.
• Collect vitals, weights, I&O, and point-of-care glucose; report significant findings.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with transport and registration.
• Enter and retrieve data; document care in established timeframes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in team training as needed.
