Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under licensed professionals. Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Montana
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings in a timely manner and communicate changes in condition promptly.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a health unit coordinator as needed.
• Transport medications to the RN and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Answer phones, transcribe orders, manage unit records and maintain supplies as needed.
• Implement care plans and perform assigned duties within scope and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and respond to emergencies according to policy.
