Nemours is seeking a Patient Access Specialist I (PART-TIME) to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Orlando, Florida. This role focuses on accurate registration, insurance verification, and collecting patient responsibilities while upholding Nemours Standards of Behavior.

Ideal candidates have healthcare or call center experience and can work a flexible schedule, with travel to other locations as needed. A High School Diploma is required and customer service skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Medical Office/Call Center experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exemplary service in line with Nemours Standards of Behaviors.
• Verify insurance benefits and determine financial responsibility by creating a good faith estimate.
• Verify and update demographics and insurance information for each encounter.
• Explain forms and collect patient responsibility or balances at the time of service.
• Register bedside admissions or perform pre-registration when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and comply with regulatory policies.
• Resolve patient accounts and support the Patient Financial Services department as needed.
