Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Two years hospital registration or insurance verification experience on hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure financial requirements are met.
• Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families and physician offices.
• Ensure claims are billed accurately and processes payments timely.
