• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Entry level position with at least one year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient focused customer service and performs outpatient and/or inpatient registration and insurance verification.
• Collects patient financial liability payments and verifies financial requirements including Medicare requirements.
• Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families and physician offices.
• Researches, collects and analyzes information to identify opportunities and drive resolutions.
• Collaborates on performance improvements and distributes analytical reports.
• Develops educational materials and creates reports using multiple system applications.
