Forefront Dermatology is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant II to accession specimens, prepare slide trays, and assist with slide production and lab maintenance. On-the-job training is provided with potential for career laddering into Lab Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a science field required.
• Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accession specimens and manage lab orders in the LIS.
• Prepare slide trays and file tissue blocks/slides.
• Assist with lab maintenance and QA/compliance tasks.
