Job summary

QualDerm Partners in Nashville, TN invites a detail‑oriented histology technician to join our Pathology team on a regular part‑time basis (20–29 hours per week). You will prepare tissue specimens for routine procedures, assist with embedding, staining, and slide preparation under the pathologist supervision.

Responsibilities include QA checks, specimen accessioning, documentation per CLIA guidelines, and maintaining accurate case records while supporting a fast‑paced dermatology pathology

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years’ lab experience preferred.
• Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens and assist with paraffin embedding for diagnosis.
• Verify slide and block match and file cases with patient requisition information.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform staining and quality assurance checks.
• Maintain QC/QA records and CLIA documentation.
