Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Histology Technician to prepare tissue specimens for dermatopathology review. You will perform embedding, sectioning, staining, and QC under CLIA guidelines in a fast-paced dermatology lab.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Completion of NAACLS histology training program required.
• HT ASCP certification or eligibility to sit for the exam required.
• CLIA requirements to perform duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex histology procedures using various techniques.
• Accession, receive, and prepare tissue specimens.
• Grossing and inking may be required depending on agency.
• Prepare media, chemicals, reagents, and slides.
• Process tissue, embedding, microtomy, staining, QC on slides.
