Qualifications

• Completion of NAACLS histology training program required.
• 2+ years as a histology technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex histology procedures using various techniques.
• Accession and prepare tissue specimens for analysis.
• Maintain documentation in QA/QC logs.

Skills

Knowledge in anatomy and tissue pathology

Detail-oriented

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

Associate's degree

HT ASCP certification or equivalent
