Sky Zone in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a Part-time Team Lead to help run daily operations across Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities. You’ll rotate through areas, lead on the floor, and step in as Manager on Duty when the GM is not present.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles.
• Background in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation preferred.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new platforms.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and eager to grow into higher levels of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and positively influence others.
• Curiosity about how daily operations connect to the bigger picture, including shift flow, guest experience, safety, and team performance.
• Hands-on, team-first mindset with ownership and lead-by-example attitude.
• Sound judgment, calm and coachable in high-pressure moments.
• Ability to move through all areas of the park and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when GM/OM are not present, ensuring operational excellence and safety.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership by coaching, supporting, and delegating to Team Members across all departments.
• Step into any operational area as needed to maintain guest experiences and smooth park flow.
• Deliver timely communication of guest issues and safety concerns to the Management Team.
• Drive membership and program sales by engaging guests and promoting park offerings.
• Oversee birthdays, parties, and events from booking to execution, including scheduling and staffing.
• Manage cafe inventory and ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities for safety and cleanliness.
