Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District Early Childhood- Eureka is seeking a part-time Parent Educator to deliver the Parents As Teachers program, including home visits and connecting families with resources. You will assess child development and implement the PAT curriculum in line with state guidelines and district philosophy.

The role requires a certified or bachelor’s degree in related fields, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified and/or bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work, psychology, counseling or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability in working with young children and their parents/caregivers.
• Pat curriculum implementation aligned with state guidelines and department philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Parents As Teachers program services, including home visits, connecting families with resources, facilitating group connections, and assessing child development.
• Plan and implement the PAT curriculum per state guidelines and department objectives.
• Work variable hours including some nights and weekends.
