Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District Early Childhood- Eureka is seeking a part-time Parent Educator to deliver the Parents As Teachers program, including home visits and connecting families with resources. You will assess child development and implement the PAT curriculum in line with state guidelines and district philosophy.

The role requires a certified or bachelor’s degree in related fields, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified and/or bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work, psychology, counseling or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability in working with young children and their parents/caregivers.
• Pat curriculum implementation aligned with state guidelines and department philosophy.

Responsibilities

Job Description

$25.46 per hour This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of 27 hours per week, depending on departmental needs, allowing the selected candidate to choose the option that best fits their availability.

Certified and/or bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work, psychology, counseling or a related field.

Demonstrated ability in workng with young children and their parents/caregivers.

This position supports the mission of the Rockwood School District by delivering the Parents As Teachers program services. This includes home visits, providing and connecting families with resources, facilitating group connections, and assessing the development of young children. This position must plan and effectively implement the PAT curriculum in accordance with state guidelines and the department's philosophy of education of young children and program goals/objectives.

Parent educator must be able to work variable hours including some nights and weekends.
