Job summary

Transdev North America in Laplace, LA is seeking a part-time driver to ensure safe, reliable transport for passengers on assigned routes. You will be expected to follow schedules, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates are at least 21, have 3 years driving experience, can obtain Chauffeur's license within 30 days, and are able to work day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts; a pre-employment DOT drug screen will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts.
• Must obtain a Chauffeur's license within 30 days of employment.
• Subject to a DOT drug test and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned routes and follow schedules.
• Assist passengers and ensure comfortable rides.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
