Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Driver to provide door-to-door transportation in Jefferson Parish, LA. You will ensure safe, comfortable service for passengers in the disabled community, greet riders, collect fares, and help with entries and exits while keeping a secure environment.

Starting pay is $16.97 per hour with progression to $18.85 per hour over two years. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing with the ability to obtain a Chauffer's License.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide door-to-door transportation for passengers safely and efficiently
• Ensure passengers are properly secured and provide assistance with all entries and exits
• Greet passengers, accept fare payment and maintain a safe environment
• Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Other duties as required
