Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking Paratransit Drivers to provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers including seniors and disabled individuals. You will operate a range of vehicles, follow routes, complete required paperwork, and maintain vehicle conditions.

Role requires 21+ years old, a valid license, and strong communication skills. We offer training, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess or obtain valid state driver’s license and required certifications.
• Pass substance abuse screening; safety-sensitive position.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist passengers when necessary.
• Able to operate multiple vehicle types and complete paperwork timely.
• Practice defensive driving and maintain safe work habits.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation by operating assigned vehicles.
• Report maintenance issues and drive only safe vehicles.
• Maintain timely adherence to routes and duties.
• Assist passengers and ensure their safety during boarding and disembarking.
• Complete route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests on time.
• Keep interior clean and presentable; present a neat appearance.
• Prepare vehicle for inclement weather and use equipment as needed.
• Record and report incidents; cooperate with staff and customers.
