American Medical Response in Dalhart, TX is seeking a Paramedic for a PART-TIME role to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care on the front lines of emergency medical services.

You will assess calls, operate defibrillators and monitoring equipment, lead scene safety, and coordinate with local public safety teams. State Paramedic License and driver’s license required; BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic preferred; driving record must be compliant.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Driving record must be compliant with company policy.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV therapy.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team lead and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
