Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) to provide advanced care.
Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to support AMR and community relations.
