Job summary

Marysville School District 25 is seeking a paraprofessional to assist students under the supervision of certificated staff. The role supports instructional activities, attendance, and classroom management in a school setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, WA paraprofessional assessment, and completion of required training within the first year. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 40 pounds are needed, with CPR/First Aid training completed soon after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional Assessment with score as specified by WA requirements.
• Completion of 14 hours Fundamental Course of Study training within first year.
• Ability to stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• First Aid & CPR training within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small group student support under supervision.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and materials.
• Supervise students and enforce classroom rules.
• Maintain student records and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Support a safe learning environment and respond to student needs.
