Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team in a part-time 16-hour role. The CCS program provides short-term stabilization for adults in a 10-bed unit, with typical stays of 3 to 5 days, adjustable by need.

The role focuses on medication monitoring, physical health coordination, and wellness group facilitation, with WRAP and safety planning support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
• One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
• Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices
• Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed
• Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being
• Deliver strength based, solution focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans
• Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care
