Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. The part-time role provides specialized nursing care in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program, offering a less restrictive alternative to inpatient hospitalization.

The CCS unit is a newly renovated 10-bed setting delivering short-term stabilization for adults, with typical stays of 3–5 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's)
• Current RN license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
• One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
• Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.
• Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
• Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.
• Deliver strength based, solution focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.
• Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care.
