Job summary

Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time Outreach Program Coordinator to support the Labor School's education and outreach initiatives in Pennsylvania. The role is hybrid or remote within PA, with flexible scheduling up to 24 hours per week.

The coordinator will work independently and with teams to expand audience reach, build partnerships, and manage events, marketing, and communications for Labor School programs.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, time management and problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities for collaboration.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel, as well as Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Assist Labor School faculty in identifying opportunities to expand the Labor School's audience and impact.
• Foster organizational relationships with key partner organizations and stakeholders across Pennsylvania.
• Coordinate planning for major Labor School events, including program timelines and workflows for faculty and support staff.
• Represent the Labor School at local and regional events with stakeholder audiences to promote programs.
• Coordinate and implement marketing strategies for outreach education programs and services.
• Lead communications across newsletters, the website, email, and social media; respond to inquiries.
