Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Illinois is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders in outpatient rehabilitation.

The role requires CCC-SLP certification and an Illinois license, with a 20-hour work week and occasional late shift until 7:00 p.m. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for part-time hires. Outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC SLP certification and IL license required.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations.
• Develops written plans of care and implements treatment.
• Monitors progress and adjusts treatment based on patient response.
• Completes documentation, billing, and scheduling in accordance with policy.
