Inova Primary Care - Crystal City in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team on a full-time day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm). The role emphasizes holistic, evidence-based care in an outpatient setting with a focus on patient education and safety.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification. ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years. Inova offers strong benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: If RN has an ADN; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in clinic or outpatient settings to include full intakes.
• Reconciliation of medications.
• Vaccinations/injections/phlebotomy.
• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting; educates patients and families.
• Determines priorities and assists team to maximize productivity.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.

Education
