Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Latham, NY is seeking a Part-Time Dockworker-Outbound to join our team. The role involves loading and unloading freight, reading shipping labels, and following DOT loading instructions, with a 4 PM start from Monday to Friday.

You will work with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and tow motors, handling various materials, standing and lifting, and maintaining safety and accuracy while processing daily paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must read and write the English language and perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements using hands or hand trucks.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, bend, reach and lift as required.
• Perform daily paperwork and comply with regulations.
