Job summary

PITT OHIO, a family-owned transportation company, seeks a Part Time Dockworker-Inbound at our Hazleton, PA location. The role includes loading/unloading freight, handling paperwork, and complying with DOT requirements. Shifts: Sunday night 10:30 PM, Tue–Fri 5:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a non-DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand or with hand truck/dolly per DOT requirements.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Lift varied materials and handle cartons, boxes, drums, etc.
• Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors.
• Process daily paperwork and comply with regulations.
• Work safely, be available to work as scheduled.
