Job summary

PITT OHIO in Center Valley, PA is seeking a Part Time Dockworker-Outbound to join our team. The role involves loading and unloading freight, reading shipping labels, and following loading instructions in a DOT-compliant manner. Work is Monday–Friday with a 5 PM start, at our Center Valley facility.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write English and perform simple math
Must pass a non-DOT physical exam
Pre-employment drug screen with negative result
Ten-year work history check with gaps explained
At-will employment acknowledgment

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight in accordance with DOT requirements
Move items by hand or using hand trucks/dollies
Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage
Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, tow motors)
Perform daily paperwork related to job duties
Work safely to minimize risk to self and others
Be available to work as scheduled; deviations require management approval
Other duties as assigned
