Job summary

WD-40 Company is seeking a part-time Human Resources Talent Manager to drive organizational design, employee relations, and development for Corporate and Global teams. You will partner with senior leaders to shape talent strategy, leadership development, and workforce planning.

The role is 25 hours per week, based between the San Diego office and home, with flexible scheduling and broad impact across a global organization.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in organizational design.
• 5–7 years in talent management and employee relations.
• Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, talent development and performance management.
• Proven ability to partner with leaders to solve complex people challenges.
• Strong employee relations experience including coaching leaders.
• Balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using data and insights to inform recommendations and decisions.
• Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to assess organizational effectiveness and design teams, roles, and structures that support strategy.
• Lead talent and organizational development initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Manage performance management processes: goal setting, coaching, calibration, and development planning.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance concerns, accommodations, and people decisions.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to address capability gaps and solutions.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and inform action plans.
• Facilitate organizational change and support leaders through transitions.
• Lead engagement survey action planning to improve employee experience.
