Job summary

WD-40 Company is seeking a part-time HR Organizational Design & Talent Manager to lead talent and organizational development across global teams. You will partner with senior leaders to design effective organizations, build talent strategies, strengthen performance, and drive engagement.

The role focuses on balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, developing leaders, and shaping workforce plans. Flexible schedule and remote-capable work style are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in I/O Psychology or Organizational Development or related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in organizational development.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in talent management and employee relations.
• Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and performance management programs.
• Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to solve complex people and organizational challenges.
• Strong employee relations experience, including coaching leaders through sensitive workplace matters.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced business environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using data and insights to inform recommendations and drive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement survey action planning and help cultivate a positive, high-performing employee experience.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule (20 hours per week) working between our San Diego Scripps Ranch office and home.

What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (I/O Psychology) or Organizational Development or a related field, strongly preferred.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in organizational development
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in talent management, employee relations.
• Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and performance management programs.
• Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to solve complex people and organizational challenges.
• Strong employee relations experience, including coaching leaders through sensitive workplace matters.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced business environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using data and insights to inform recommendations and drive decision making.
• Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related HR technology tools.

Total Rewards

$65,000 - $75,000 (part-time salary) / year. Compensation is determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. Benefits are not available for part-time roles.
