Job summary

Volunteer Centre County in State College, PA is seeking an Ordinance Enforcement Officer to enforce Borough ordinances on property maintenance, sidewalks, refuse, dogs, and housing. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of ordinance enforcement experience, plus a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Work is performed with minimal supervision and some autonomy; schedule is part-time with specific daily hours, and benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Additional Information

Work Schedule for position:

• Mid-August - Thanksgiving is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 5-hour days. Hours are 8 AM - 1 PM
• Thanksgiving - Mid-August is Monday - Thursday - 5-hour days (Exception: there may be a few weekends that will be incorporated into the schedule at the end of April and beginning of May, and Arts Fest Weekend). Hours are 8 AM - 1 PM.
• Position includes 50/50 shared cost in Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) and part-time paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
