Job summary

The Borough of State College is seeking a Part-Time Ordinance Enforcement Officer to enforce municipal codes on property maintenance, sidewalks, refuse, dogs and housing issues at the State College Municipal Building. The position offers 5 hours per day and starts at $22.00 per hour.

Schedules run mid-August through Thanksgiving with 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM hours, and adjustments during late-spring events. Benefits include 50/50 health/dental/vision coverage and paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus 1+ year of ordinance enforcement experience, or equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Ability to perform essential functions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Enforce borough ordinances regarding property maintenance, sidewalks, refuse, dogs, and housing complaints.
• Assist in enforcing Borough public health and safety regulations.
