Job summary

State College Borough is seeking a Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer/Customer Service Representative (PEO/CSR) at the State College Municipal Building. Current schedule: Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM – subject to change.

The PEO/CSR provides prompt and courteous customer service, oversees parking operations and enforces Borough parking ordinances and state parking laws. Work performed with limited supervision and uses policy interpretation to choose the best approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years related experience preferred.
• PA driver’s license required.

Title: Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer/Customer Service Representative (PEO/CSR)

Current Schedule…Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM – Subject to change at Administration’s discretion and to meet departmental needs.

Location: State College Municipal Building

Current Starting Hourly Rate: $22.09

REQUIREMENTS

The PEO/CSR provides prompt and courteous customer service. Oversees parking operations and enforces both Borough parking ordinances and state parking laws. Work is performed under limited supervision with moderate latitude. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two or more years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
