Job summary

Volunteer Centre County is seeking a Custodian to manage the cleaning and maintenance of public buildings. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, pass a criminal background check, and possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, primarily Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Competitive benefits, including health insurance and a 401 Pension Plan, are included in this position.

Responsibilities

The position of Custodian involves manual work in the cleaning and maintenance of Borough-owned and other public buildings for which the Borough is responsible under contracted service.

The work is performed independently under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor.

Due to the nature of the work and the hours of operation of facilities maintained, it is necessary to work flexible hours, seven days a week.

The various shifts and duties are rotated among the custodial crew.

Additional Information

Schedule: Work may include flexible hours with various shifts, however, the primary work shift will be Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM. to 1:00 PM.
