Job summary

AtlantiCare's Surgery Center is seeking a qualified OR Scrub Technician to assist the surgical team during procedures. You will prepare and maintain the sterile field, handle instruments, and support the perioperative team with patient safety and efficient work practices.

Requires a high school diploma, accreditation in surgical technology, and NJ certification maintenance; part-time schedule with day shifts; strong aseptic technique, good coordination, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required.
• Completes 15 hours of continuing education to remain certified in NJ

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during procedures as scrub/instrument person.
• Prepare sterile field and arrange operating room for procedures.
• Anticipate needs and assist with patient positioning as directed by RN.
