Surgical Solutions is seeking a Part-time OR support professional to assist in operating rooms and sterile processing, ensuring equipment is ready and properly managed. The role emphasizes patient-safe practices and timely instrument turnover in a hospital setting.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling pre-, intra-, and post-operative tasks, while maintaining high standards of sanitation, safety, and on-site attendance across a 20-hour workweek schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST preferred; CRCST must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide operating room support and ensure access to required equipment.
• Assist with pre-operative setup and confirm video and surgical equipment functionality.
• Support intra-operative needs and coordinate supply availability for staff and surgeons.
• Handle post-operative turnover by collecting and inventorying instruments for cleaning and sterilization.
• Maintain instrument/decontamination standards for sterility and safety.
• Ensure 24/7 availability, including rotation for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
