Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA benefits process. This is a non-treating, non-determination role focused on assessments.

You will conduct comprehensive eye exams, review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and document findings for VA forms. The position is part-time, in-person, with a manageable caseload and provided equipment. No on-call duties and training support available.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Optometry license.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
