Job summary

MRG Exams seeks an Optometrist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, supporting the VA disability benefits process. This is a non-treating, non-determination role focused on assessments and documentation.

In-person, 1 day per week with a caseload of 4–6 Veterans daily. You will review electronic medical records, conduct comprehensive eye exams including Visual Field Testing, and complete VA forms accurately.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Optometry license required.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• In-person assessment role with no treatment duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform eye exams including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Document exam findings and complete VA forms accurately.
