Job summary

Bloomberg Associates seeks a part-time Fellow for six months to support the Operations Practice with data management, trackers, and research. The role involves 20 hours per week on average and requires strong attention to detail, data analysis, and clear communication to support city portfolios.

The Fellow will help maintain internal trackers, perform data audits, and assist with reporting needs across nine disciplines, with potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and two years' relevant professional experience; a master's is a plus.
• Background in project management, consulting, operations or similar field.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into summaries.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and independently.
• Airtable experience is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with project management tools and best practices.
• Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and solve problems creatively.
• Experience managing projects through full life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve tracking systems for project activity and performance.
• Create internal trackers to monitor status and impact across disciplines.
• Analyze, clean, and transfer data between internal tools.
• Conduct data audits and develop reporting processes for BA teams.
• Advise on usability of internal tools and improve efficiencies.
• Perform in-depth research on organizational improvement and client cities.
• Coordinate city engagement activities and follow-up with teams.
• Update internal resources and training materials for staff.
• Contribute to consistent, efficient workflows in reporting.
