Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Part-Time Hospital Services Technician to travel between Cedar Rapids-area healthcare facilities, collecting and exchanging waste containers for WMHS programs. The role requires on-site presence, immunization compliance, and a valid driver’s license.

Candidates with 2+ years in customer service or related work are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED recommended. The position offers flexible shifts, up to 10 hours per week, with early morning or afternoon

Qualifications

• On-site presence at WMHS customer locations and immunization requirements.
• 2 years industry-related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for WMHS programs and services.
• Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
• Communicates duty status on a defined schedule.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
